Get Found, Get Chosen, Get Seen: How the Three Work Together

AI visibility, a converting website, and video are one system, not three services. How the full journey from AI answer to booked call actually fits together.

Machines answer. People choose. Your next client's journey runs through both rooms, and it has three doors: the AI answer, your website, and your face on video. Optimize one door and you've built a third of a system. This post is the map of how the whole thing fits together, and where to start if you can only start with one.

One journey, three doors

Over the last three posts we walked one buyer's journey a step at a time. Put the steps back together and it looks like this.

Someone with a real problem (a founder who needs a tool that scales, a team comparing three vendors, an operator who needs a platform they can trust) asks an AI who to trust. The engine names a few companies. If you're not in that answer, the journey ends before you knew it started. That's door one: get found.

They click through, and the click lands on your homepage. Ten seconds of verification: is this who the AI said, do they handle my situation, do people like me trust them, what do I do next. Fail the ten seconds and the introduction is wasted. Door two: get chosen.

But the other names on the shortlist cleared those bars too. So the buyer looks for the tiebreaker: who are these people, actually? The firm with a person on camera answering real questions wins the tie against the firm with an About page. Door three: get seen.

Found, chosen, seen. Not three marketing channels. Three checkpoints in a single journey, in order, each one useless without the ones around it.

Why the doors only work together

Here's what we see when businesses treat these as separate purchases from separate vendors.

Found without chosen is the most common failure. An SEO or AEO vendor gets the citations moving, traffic arrives, and the website (built as a brochure in 2019) quietly loses every introduction. The business concludes AI traffic is junk. The traffic was fine. The receiving end wasn't there.

Chosen without found is the beautiful ghost town. A gorgeous, converting site that machines can't read and answers never mention. It wins every visitor it gets and gets almost none. Usually this is the firm that “did a website” two years ago and can't figure out why the phone is quiet.

Seen without either is content into the void. Videos published to a channel no engine connects to the business and no site cross links. The work is real; the system that would make it compound doesn't exist.

Now run them together and watch the loops close. Every video becomes a transcript and a linked article, which is exactly the structured, question shaped content the AI engines cite: seen feeds found. Every AI citation lands a warmer visitor on a homepage built to verify them: found feeds chosen. Every verifier who watches ninety seconds of footage arrives at the booking page already half decided: seen feeds chosen. One question from a real client conversation becomes a video, an article, an AI answer, and a booked call. That's not three services invoiced together. That's one machine with three moving parts.

Where to start (not with all three)

Here's the part where you expect the agency to say “buy everything.” We don't, and the reason is the order of operations.

Start with get found. It's the foundation for a specific reason: it's measurement first. The AEO work begins by scoring what the machines currently say about you and how your site reads to them, which tells you (with numbers, not vibes) where your actual gap is. Some businesses genuinely don't need a new website; their site converts fine and their problem is pure visibility. The audit says so, and that's what we tell them.

Add web development when the numbers say your site is the leak. If visibility is climbing and booked calls aren't, the homepage is losing introductions. That's the moment design and development pay for themselves, not before.

Add video when the shortlist is where you're losing. When you're in the answers and the site converts, the remaining gap is the tie against the other credible names. That's what the camera is for.

The honest sequencing is the point. Each layer is prescribed by what the last layer's measurements found, which is why every engagement we run reports monthly: your scores, your numbers, what shipped, what's next. If a layer wouldn't pay for itself yet, the report is where we say so. (All three programs and their exact prices are public on our services page. No surprises at the proposal stage.)

The system beats the tactic

One more thing worth naming, because it's the actual thesis of this whole series.

Every piece of this is individually copyable. Anyone can add schema. Anyone can rewrite a homepage. Anyone can film twelve videos. What compounds is the connected system running month after month: questions harvested from real client conversations feeding videos, videos feeding articles, articles feeding AI answers, answers feeding a homepage built to convert, and every month's measurements deciding next month's work.

Tactics decay. The system compounds. A year of it makes you the business the machines cite, the site that converts the click, and the face the market recognizes, all pointing at each other. That's a position a competitor can't buy quickly, because the only way to build it is the way you built it: consistently, in order, over time.

Machines answer. People choose. Be the answer in both rooms.

Frequently asked questions

What do “Get Found, Get Chosen, Get Seen” mean?

They're the three checkpoints in how buyers hire now. Get Found: be the business AI engines name when buyers ask who to trust (AEO). Get Chosen: turn the people who land on your website into booked calls (web design and development). Get Seen: be the face your market recognizes, on video, before they ever call (YouTube production). Each maps to a service, and they're built to run as one system.

Do I need all three services?

No, and we won't prescribe all three by default. Every engagement starts with the AEO foundation because it measures where your actual gap is. Design and video get added when your numbers show they'll pay for themselves: a visibility score that's climbing while bookings lag points to the website; strong visibility and conversion with slow win rates points to the shortlist tie that video breaks.

What does it cost?

Every price is public on each service page, so you see the exact figure before you ever talk to us. Most engagements start with the AEO foundation and add Web Development or YouTube only when the numbers say they'll pay for themselves. No custom quote games, no surprises at the proposal stage.

Where should a business start?

With measurement. Our free teardown scores your AI visibility and your website's conversion readiness separately, so you can see which door is actually costing you before spending anything. Plenty of businesses take the findings and run; the ones who want help book the walkthrough call.

Deveney is an absolute expert in her field. There is no one who understands comprehensive branding or the user journey like she does. I have worked with Dev on multiple photoshoots and have watched many of her projects come to fruition. She is exceptionally professional and a complete visionary, creatively. She is able to execute your vision perfectly, while making it exceedingly more beautiful, creative, and engaging.

I would say that Deveney's greatest strength is in her strategy and execution. She listens and does a ton of research in order to create the ideal plan, whether it's for design, brand, or video project. Her execution is then expertly done. She is communicative and shares each step of the process with you to make sure the vision is aligned.
